Children's Complex Care Nurse – Community Based

Location: Carlisle / Cumbria

Shifts: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 07:00 to 17:00

Pay Rates (including holiday pay): Days £39.11

 

As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider Thornbury Community Services recruits paediatric nurses to deliver bespoke care and support to young people enabling them to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies and take trips into their local community.

We are looking to recruit children's nurses to work in Carlisle with UK-based complex care experience to work with a 3 year old  little boy, he was born extremely premature with 23+ 3 week gestation TPN dependant due to short bowel.

Role requirements

We look for paediatric nurses with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient and highly skilled. In order to be considered for this role we require the following key skills:

  • Total Parenteral Nutrition (ESSENTIAL)
  • Use of Infusion Pump
  • Care & Use of Gastrostomy
  • Changing Gastrostomy Buttons
  • Care of Colostomies & Ileostomies
  • Epilepsy
