Female Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker

Location: Helston, Cornwall

Shifts: Days (Monday-Sunday: 08:00-20:00) Nights (20:00 - 08:00)

Pay Rates (including holiday pay): Days £16.81 / Nights £18.91 / Weekends £21.01

As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider Thornbury Community Services recruits learning disabilities support workers to utilise their skills and expertise to enable our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives where they can achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies and take trips into the community.

We are looking to recruit learning disability support workers in Helston with UK-based learning disabilities and/or autism care experience to support our client. This is a community based support role.

Role requirements

We are looking for Learning disabilities support workers with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient and highly skilled. In order to be considered for this role we require the following key skills:

· Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions in the last two years

· Learning disabilities 

· Autism

· Mental health

· Restraint training and Physical intervention
