Support Worker within Learning Disability Services 

LOCATION: Shrewsbury, Shropshire

PAY RATES: 

  • Weekdays: £16.81 per hour
  • Weekends: £21.01 per hour 

Shifts – flexible and available to work across a variety of shifts, including days and weekends.

We’re looking for Support Worker within Support Worker within Learning Disability Services who are committed to making a real difference—people who truly care and want to build long-term partnerships with those they support. 

This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to empower an individual with ASD & ADHD to live safe, fulfilled lives. You’ll help clients achieve personal goals, explore new hobbies, and enjoy trips into the community—all while creating relationships that bring lasting satisfaction for both you and them. 

You will be a part of a care team working 3:1 each day to support and enhance our client’s daily routine. You should be engaging and flexible to understand varying needs and changes to communication/interactions. On an average shift, you will support with maintaining boundaries and going out in the community for activities such as horse riding. You must be able to drive and comfortable with animals.

  • Deliver person-centered care within the client’s own home. 
  • Maintain safety whilst making positive risk decisions.

What We’re Looking For 

We want passionate, resilient professionals who can commit to delivering care without exception. To join our team, you’ll need: 

  • 12 months UK-based experience in a community setting. 
  • Confidence in maintaining risk and using physical intervention where required.  
  • Confidence in utilising PBS standards within services.  
  • Strong personal values and ethical standards.  
  • Dedication, commitment and stability.  
  • A genuine desire to build lasting relationships and make a positive impact.
