Our Wellbeing and Support Hub
Thursday, July 1, 2021
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing our nurses, healthcare assistants and support workers with 24/7 wellbeing support, we have created a Wellbeing and Support Hub, which our healthcare professionals will receive instant access to once they join Thornbury Community Services (TCS).
What is the Wellbeing and Support Hub?
The Wellbeing and Support Hub is an online portal that allows our healthcare professionals 24/7 access to a vast range of mental health, wellbeing and support resources alongside a dedicated area to book continual professional development (CPD) courses. The Wellbeing and Support Hub is accessible via Compass, our information hub that supports our healthcare workers through their careers with TCS.
Why did we create the Wellbeing and Support Hub?
At TCS, we're continuously thinking of new ways to support our healthcare professionals' mental health, wellbeing and professional development needs. We believe it’s important for them to have a valuable resource of information, support and a place to book onto CPD training courses in one central location that is accessible any time.
The Wellbeing and Support Hub also allows our workers to provide us with honest feedback on how they would like to see the hub develop. We regularly encourage and welcome feedback from our teams to tailor the Wellbeing and Support Hub to their professional and personal development needs.
What is available on the Wellbeing and Support Hub?
In the Wellbeing and Support Hub, we have included:
- Articles
- Blogs
- Guides
- Videos
- Podcasts
- Recorded mental health workshops
- Helplines and useful links
- Feedback forms
- Resources relating to mental health and wellbeing support
- A dedicated area to book CPD training courses
We continuously add new content and resources to the Wellbeing and Support Hub to ensure our healthcare professionals have the latest information, guidance and resources they need.
