Thornbury Community Services are currently looking for a Paediatric Nurse with recent Intensive Care experience to work within their local community. We’re looking for a passionate and caring individual to help care for our patient, and to make a positive difference to their lives. Currently our patient needs nurses to care for them during the night, 20:00-08:00, Monday to Sunday. We aim to provide patients with a consistent team so you can book your shifts up to 3 months in advance ensuring you get shifts that can work around your schedule.

Our packages of care are all based in the community with patients who would usually be cared for in intensive care. You would be utilising all your skills learned in an acute setting and applying them to a new challenge.

  • Mileage allowance – we pay up to 25p per mile. We also reimburse up to £70 (per trip) if you use public transport.

Key Requirements

  • A Paediatric Nurse (RNC) with a minimum of 12 months UK based complex health care experience within the last 2 years.
  • 6 months experience with tracheostomies within the last 18 months.
  • 12 months experience of ventilators within the last 2 years.
