Children's Complex Care Nurse – Community Based

Location: Oxford

Shifts: 20:00-08:00 - 8:00-20:00

Pay Rates (including holiday pay)Days £39.11 / Nights £43.94 / Weekends £48.95

 

As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider Thornbury Community Services recruits paediatric nurses to deliver bespoke care and support to young people enabling them to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies, and take trips into their local community.

We are looking to recruit Female Children's Nurses in Oxford with UK-based complex care experience. We are looking for paediatric nurses with complex care experience to work with a young female in Oxford with Spinal Muscular Atrophy with Respiratory Distress. We require nursing care by a team of dedicated nurses. If it’s your first time working in the community, we have shadow shifts to ensure you are comfortable and a team of support available whenever you need it.

Role requirements

We look for paediatric nurses with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. To be considered for this role we require recent experience in the following key skills:

  • Tracheostomy Care & Suction
  • Tracheostomy Tube Change
  • Ventilation via Tracheostomy
  • Complex Care Background
  • Insertion female indwelling catheter (Please note she has female intermittent catheter care during the day)
