An exciting opportunity has arisen, on behalf of our sister company Pulse Nursing at Home,for a customer care focused individual to join our growing team of Out of Hours Care Coordinators. Utilising your Customer Service experience, you will be working to ensure package stability, dealing with escalations of concerns and mirror the support to clients and workers that is provided during normal business hours. 

Home is where we feel most secure. Pulse Nursing at Home provides compassionate nursing for clients requiring one-to-one care at home, no matter how complex. We provide short or long-term homecare to paediatric, adult, elderly, overseas, VIP and post-operative clients. We work in partnership with CCGs, local authorities, hospital teams and our clients. Provided by our highly skilled nurses and carers, our professional service is tailored to each client to enable people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and communities.

Key tasks include:

  • Acting as an initial point of contact for our clients and healthcare staff, fulfilling routine and complex requests, responding to inquiries from clients and field staff 
  • Providing guidance and support to field staff working in community placements
  • Providing knowledge to colleagues, clients and field staff 
  • Planning rotas and making decisions on nurses’ suitability for particular shifts
  • To present professional, courteous and knowledgeable behaviour to clients, service users, field staff and colleagues alike

Skills and Experience:

  • Good level of basic education
  • Numerate & literate
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
