Community Children's Nurse

If you’d like to use your skill and compassion to support children with complex care needs in their own homes and local community, we want to hear from you.

We need children’s nurses with at least six months acute experience, and who can commit to our packages in order to provide the continuity of care our young patients and their families need.

As a Thornbury community nurse you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day care of a patient, offering clinical support that will help transform a family’s life. You’ll empower them to set and achieve goals that are important to them through developing trust and an excellent working relationship.

We’ll support you every step of the way. You'll be fully briefed on each client's requirements to appropriately prepare you to provide the best care for each individual. Our dedicated team of case managers, clinical leads and back office staff will also be available whenever you need them.

Requirements
  • Children’s nurse with a minimum 6 months’ UK-based complex healthcare experience within the last three years
  • Confident as a lone worker
  • Friendly, compassionate and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in community based nursing
  • Experience with tracheostomies and ventilator management would be advantageous but isn’t always necessary

  • Market leading pay rates - earn up-to £37.37 per hour
  • Mileage allowance – we pay up to 25p per mile. We also reimburse up to £70 (per trip) if you use public transport
